Investing in the ecological future of Northern Ireland Committed to making industry greener
The blue and yellow colours of Wright Recycling (formerly Wright Skips) has been a common site on the Northern Ireland’s roads over the years and as many will know, if you mix blue with yellow you get green. We strongly believe in working for a greener environment and a better future for our planet and children and our commitment is to drive towards these goals through recycling, public awareness and education. Indeed, we regularly host guided tours for schools and groups to view our exciting state-of-the-art facilities here in Newtownards. We believe that educating the young people now will have a beneficial effect in the future. All our vehicles are purchased to a high specification using Euro 4-5 engines with Add Blue to help suppress exhaust emissions and are fitted with Airbag suspension and lifting axles were possible to help save wear and tare on the highways. Cameras and audible reversing alarms are also fitted to all vehicles. Wright Recycling also provides training for customers by offering a representative from our company to spend time on their site and educating employees about why their company has changed some of its policies and views regarding its waste management needs. We also explain the best way for a company to segregate their waste and increase their recycling targets by minimising their landfill disposal.
